I humbly request the Alaskan Spiritual Consistory to withhold from my salary for the month of January the cost of the icon of the Holy Prophet Elias, recently received from Russia, that I wish to donate to the cathedral church in San Francisco. I also ask to deduct $10 from my salary for the case for the new icon. This is done in prayerful memory and for the rest of the soul of my reposed parent, Ilija, who fell asleep in San Francisco on December 18, 1887.
