Serbian-Greek Church Dedicated in Slavonian
Rev. Sebastian Dabovich of San Francisco, Administrator for North America, Takes Temporary Charge
With the Ceremonies of the Greek Orthodox church, a house of worship was yesterday established for the benefit of the Serbians of Los Angeles.
The services were conducted in Slavonian by Rev. Sebastian Dabovich of San Francisco, administrator of the Greek church for North America, who will remain in charge until the appointment of a pastor.
The temporary place of worship is at 615 North Grand Avenue, but it is intended to erect a permanent edifice.1
This is a digital edition of Beacon from the Bay: The Collected Works of Saint Sebastian Dabovich of Jackson and San Francisco, a several-month-long project to catalogue the out-of-print works of Saint Sebastian Dabovich, the first American-born Orthodox priest.
If you would like to purchase print copies of Beacon from the Bay for a personal or church library or bookstore, you may do so from Amazon. All support is greatly appreciated for this labor of love.
